Hot Tuna is up for new year by launching a U.S. tour, started on Jan 2nd at Massachusetts. veteran blues-rock band will be performing at different theaters across the country, with Jefferson Airplane as lead, guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Casady.

The tour will start its East Coast leg with performances in Florida, followed by Texas and Arizona and West Coast through California and into Oregon, Washington and Idaho.Leon Russell will be special guest during half of this tour with shows in Boston, Glenside, Charlotte, Atlanta, Austin, and Dallas. David Lindley will be serving as opening act, during shows in California and Oregon. The tour will end up with its last performance at Egyptian Theatre – Boise on Feb. 21.
