The singer-songwriter Yusuf Islam (also known as Cat Stevens) recently announced dates for his first North American tour, after 35 years. Yusuf will kick-off this incredible tour on Dec. 1st at Massey Hall – Toronto, Canada and make its stops to major North American markets.

This incredible tour will be in support to Yusuf’s upcoming album ‘Tell ’Em When I’m Gone’, releasing Oct. 27th, along-with Richard Thompson, Charlie Musselwhite, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Tuareg group Tinariwen and guitarist Matt Sweeney. This short run tour will include stops at Boston, Beacon Theatre – New York, NY, Chicago, San Francisco and final performance at Nokia Theatre Live – Los Angeles, CA on Dec. 14th.
